70th anniversary of Australian Peacekeeping

Thursday 14 September 2017 will mark 70 years of Australia’s involvement in international peacekeeping. Tens of thousands of Australians have served on peacekeeping operations.

A National Service of Commemoration will be held at 10.00am at the Australian Peacekeeping Memorial on Anzac Parade, Canberra. During the service the newly completed Australian Peacekeeping Memorial on Anzac Parade will be dedicated.

The public event will be attended by Minister for Veterans’ Affairs Dan Tehan, former and current peacekeepers, and their families.
